I’ve been hearing about Half Dome for the past 10 years and every year I would think of a different excuse not to go, but this year I decided to make it happen. I made my reservations before George Floyd and Breonna Taylor were killed. It was shortly after the pandemic started but before the lockdown. By the time I actually made it to the mountain all of the previously mentioned tragedies had come to past.
